TEP at a Glance
What does TEP do?
We design and run technical production for conferences, broadcasts, and galas—production design, production management, and live production at scale.
Do you handle small equipment-only rentals?
We focus on production at scale. If you only need small rentals, we’ll recommend a local partner.
Where do you work?
Seattle-based, producing across North America and internationally.
How fast do you respond?
One business day for RFP confirmations and inquiries.
How do I start?
Submit an RFP (best for most projects) or use the Discovery Questionnaire if you’re in the early stages.
Event Planners + Marketers
You own the program and outcomes. We make the technical plan effortless.
What’s your process?
Discover → Define → Design → Prepare → Deliver. We align goals and budget early, then manage vendors, rehearsals, and show-calling to plan.
How early should we engage you?
We often consult on 365-day project cycles. For new projects, plan 8–16 weeks (mid-size), or 4–6 months (large/multi-city). We’ll right-size if you’re on a tighter timeline.
Can you work with our preferred venue/vendors?
Yes. We’ll lead the tech plan and collaborate with your venue and approved suppliers. We are often able to negotiate lower costs or better terms when involved early.
Do you provide renderings and floor plans?
Yes. Renderings, system design, show flow, and cue sheets are standard deliverables.
Will you manage content and presenters?
We coordinate assets, build playback, and run rehearsals. We also offer speaker coaching and show-caller support.
How do you price?
A project fee (design/management) plus production costs. We’ll give ranges early, then a firm scope before award.
Procurement + Finance
Clean scopes, competitive sourcing, compliant paperwork.
What contracting models do you support?
Fixed bid, T&M with not-to-exceed, or phased design-then-build. Your choice.
What’s included in your proposal?
Scope, schedule, deliverables, staffing plan, vendor strategy, assumptions, and risk register.
Insurance & compliance?
COI up to venue requirements; W-9, EIN, vendor forms; safety plans and on-site compliance.
Sustainability reporting?
Yes. Power right-sizing, freight consolidation notes, material reuse/recycling, and a short post-show summary.
Change management?
Written change orders with impact on cost/schedule; nothing changes without approval.
Payment terms?
Standard: 50/50 or net-30 on milestone invoices. We also support portal-based invoicing.
Executives + Presenters
Calm backstage, confident onstage, aligned to outcomes.
How do you keep presenters comfortable?
Dedicated stage manager, clear comms, confidence monitors, and well-paced rehearsals.
Teleprompter and show flow?
Available. We align script, slides, and cues so delivery feels natural.
Hybrid audiences—will remote viewers have a good experience?
